"Dear Mike - My heart is light and the smile is still on my face! That was the most inspired performance I have ever attended - I truly mean that. Your talent exceeds my writing capabilities, but I can tell you that what I loved most of all was the palapable joy you exuded while playing. It reminded me of everything that is beautiful and right and possible." - October 2006

"Dabroski tunes a violin for one of his 48 students prior to a spring recital held Sunday at the Tannery Pond Community Center in North Creek...Students of all ages from all over the Adirondacks delighted a standing-room-only crowd at the Center." - June 2003
"Dear Michael - Just wanted to jot down a quick note to let you know how much I enjoyed working with you this past weekend...What a pleasure it was to make great music and get to know new friends...You are a fine player! and are doing great things there in North Creek...Thank you so much for your warm and wonderful hospitality...I hope we can work together again." - June 2003
"Michael Dabroski brought his Music Matters! program to Minerva Central School in February and March 2003...He coached a variety of small ensembles (trumpet duet, saxophone quartet, clarinet ensemble, trumpet quartet), soloists preparing for state evaluations and small improvisation groups...The groups are grades 6-12...In addition, Michael performed a violin presentation for the elementary grades...Michael worked very well with all of the students...He encouraged the students to perform their best with a wide variety of suggestions...The students received his suggestions very well and all performances improved under his coaching...In observing Michael during these coaching sessions I was very impressed with his energy, excitement and love for music...He brought out the best in Minerva students...I would highly recommend Michael Dabroski to your school district." - April 2003
“We so much appreciated the presentation of your program ‘Violin Mike’ on the evening of February 20th at the Town of Johnsburg Library. It was a wonderful contribution to our planned community arts program series, and did, indeed, bring together the community and the art of the violin. The program was well received by the adults and children alike. It was a brief but thorough introduction to the violin, giving us an overview of the making of a violin, its history, and the types of music that are written for it, as well as an introduction to the technique involved in playing the instrument. It was a delight to watch the youngsters and the adults as they were taught the rudiments and played for us. It was a special treat, also, to listen to you play something for us as you so eloquently do. The library was privileged to be the venue for this program, and we thank you for sharing your talents with us.” - February 2003
"Dear Michael - I just wanted to say thank you for the exceptional music residency...Everyone was impressed by your teaching and rapport with the students...Most of all I want to thank you for instilling music into the hearts and souls of students...They are now going to hear music and remember you and what you have taught them - how it touches their lives and how important a role music has played throughout history...We hope we can do another program with you in future years..." - January 2003
"How can we ever thank you for making our wedding so special and beautiful? Your talent is amazing and we feel so priviledged to have had you play at the wedding." - September 2002
"At the Essex County Music Festival the day's activities began last Friday morning as hundreds of area students met at Saranac Lake High School to learn new music together...The concert band director this year was special guest conductor Michael Dabroski, founder of Adirondack Ensemble...Dabroski taught the students a new piece titled Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky...As he worked with the newly composed band, he encouraged them...'This is great,' he said...He would stop the music from time to time, working with each section to pull the sound together...'If you have four quarter notes, play each one a little differently, one louder, one softer. Have fun with the music." - March 2002
"A nine-year-old violin student performs a piece on violin with Michael Dabroski of Adirondack Ensemble...The student played in her first public appearance as part of a fund-raising concert to benefit Johnsburg's Head Start program." - February 2002
"A Musical Gift to the Nursing Home." - December 2001
"Dabroski travels to area (Adirondack) schools to teach chamber music, part of their Music Matters! residency program...The students also learn how to work together and communicate better to create the best performance for the group...The students must decide how long to hold a note or to pause, and how to play a certain section...The music brings out all these conflict resolution issues." - February 2001
